Osprey Mathematics Conference
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of North Florida is organizing an undergraduate research conference, Ospreys Mathematics Conference, on April 17-18, 2026. The regional conference is open to undergraduate and graduate students as well as faculty members. It will be a great opportunity for all attendees to meet and present their latest research results in mathematics and statistics. All talks will be accessible for undergraduate students. The major goals of the conference are to facilitate student intellectual development, improve student research and presentation skills, enhance research at the undergraduate level, help prepare students for their professional careers, and foster mentoring between undergraduate students and their faculty research advisors.
2026 MAA Florida /FTYCMA Joint Annual Meeting
Come join us at the 59th annual joint meeting between the Florida section of the Mathematical Association of America (MAA) and the Florida Two-Year College Mathematics Association (FTYCMA).
This event is being hosted by the State College of Florida in Bradenton, FL.
We invite talks (either 20 minutes or 45 minutes in duration) and workshops or special topic sessions (105 minutes) from mathematicians and math educators from colleges and universities.
Graduate and undergraduate students are also invited to participate.
Those who wish to be considered for the program talks, workshops or posters should complete the proposal form. If you are planning more than one presentation, you must complete the form for each one. Deadline for submission is Friday, February 6, 2026.
2025 Suncoast Regional Meeting
Come join us at the 47th Suncoast regional meeting of the Florida section of the Mathematical Association of America (MAA).
This event is being hosted by the University of South Florida, Sarasota / Manatee campus.
All proposals for contributions must be received (by email to Gregory McColm at mccolm@usf.edu) by November 26, 2025. Send title and abstract as an MS Word attachment (.doc, .docx, or .rtf file).
Payment must be received by November 26, 2025 by Zelle or mailed by check. Please see the registration form for more information.
